The Undergraduate Design program comprises Foundation Courses, Specialization Courses, Experiential Learning Courses, Value-Added Courses, and Professional Practices.

FLAME has reimagined the traditional models of higher education by addressing two critical issues: the lack of interdisciplinarity and the lack of opportunity to make an informed decision about one’s specialization.

Professional Practice Courses

In a rapidly evolving world, integrating professional practice into your learning experience is essential. Designers and practitioners need to stay informed about trends, constraints, rules, and the impact of their work to ensure success.

That’s why we offer 24 masterclasses and workshops throughout the 4-year program. Each semester, students will participate in three to four sessions, led by industry experts. These sessions are designed to refine your skills, encourage self-reflection, and keep you updated on cutting-edge topics.

You will have access to five categories of workshops and masterclasses, each serving a unique purpose:

  1. Maker’s Week: Through hands-on activities, you’ll develop and enhance your practical and creative design skills. The week includes specific topics like prototype development, with activities such as DIY projects, electronics, 3D printing, robotics, and more.
  2. Skill-up Saturdays: With the Skill-Up initiative, you can identify opportunities for upskilling and achieve your specific career goals.
  3. Reflection Days: Through hands-on activities, you’ll develop and enhance your practical and creative design skills. The week includes specific topics like prototype development, with activities such as DIY projects, electronics, 3D printing, robotics, and more.
  4. Catch-Up Evenings: These sessions will be informal, featuring leading industrial practitioners who will sit down with you over a cup of tea to discuss contemporary design issues and the latest trends.
  5. Awareness Month: Awareness months will provide you with a platform to discuss current design trends and raise awareness within the entire ecosystem
