Over the last 15 years technology and the growth of the economy have opened new career directions that were not there earlier. The Creative Careers Seminar (CCS) is an interactive online seminar for students in classes 8 to 12 and their parents. It is usually held on the first Saturday of each month. The seminar is conducted by Mr. Umesh Kumar GL and Mr. Shaun D’Sa, both of whom are designers from IIT Delhi with many years of experience. Both of them have guided over 15000 students into creative careers of Design, Fashion and Architecture professions.

Requirements for creative professionals exist across different sectors – IT companies, consulting companies, TV networks, retail and manufacturing companies to name a few.
Average annual salaries for entry level creative jobs are in the region of ₹6 to 12 Lakhs.
Design Quotient Labs (DQ Labs) was established in 2007 by two designers from IIT Delhi, Umesh Kumar GL and Shaun D’Sa.
Working in major international automobile companies, they realized that youngsters abroad had a far better understanding of design thinking than those of similar age in India.
